DSOM Native MCP Architecture Complete

I have successfully scaffolded the native Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for our DSOM architecture. We now have a system capable of exposing the Sovereign Markdown Palace directly to AI clients, heavily inspired by Context7's RAG capabilities!

What Was Accomplished

  1. Deep Research Document (DSOM-MCP-ARCHITECTURE.md): I wrote the foundational blueprint for how our native MCP server operates over stdio and serves resources and tools natively to AI assistants without relying on third parties. Review the Architecture here.
  2. Scaffolded Server (server.py): I created the actual Python script at tools/mcp/server.py. It uses the official mcp SDK (via FastMCP) and exposes our .dsom state and task.md files as direct URI resources, plus a search_palace tool.
  3. Onboarding Integration: Added the MCP client configuration instructions to START-HERE.md so anyone joining the project knows exactly how to hook up Cursor or Claude Desktop to this server.
  4. Omni-Documentation Sync: The new architecture doc was synced to SUMMARY.md, mkdocs.yml, and llms.txt.

The changes will now be pushed up to GitHub and GitLab simultaneously via our multi-repo setup.

Mental Anchor -- 2026-08-05

Today's session updated OKF specs and co-working protocols with Google Jules. 1. Documented OKF v0.1 YAML frontmatter schema and Rule 6 topic array requirements. 2. Executed fast-forward git pulls from Google Jules sync. 3. Amended Rule 7 (Defensive Git Syncing) for Google Jules stash-pull-pop protocol. 4. Diagnosed Windows Git Credential Manager (GCM) non-interactive push constraints (Rule 24).
